Everglade Windows are the latest company to join the Solidor composite door network, along with their sister company Nice Door Panels.
The Middlesex-based fabricator operates in the retail, trade and commercial markets and was quick to see the benefits of providing a solid timber core composite door to their customers. At 48mm deep, the Solidor slab fits perfectly into Everglade’s Kömmerling’s O70 Gold and C70 Gold door frames and combined, offer a completely lead-free solution. This is at a time when most of the Systems Companies and composite door manufacturers still use lead based PVCu materials
At Everglade’s recent open day, managing director, Gareth Mobley had the opportunity to present the key USP’s of the door to the delegates and the reception was impressive. With 13 colours inside and out, Solidor has very few competitors and there are a number of other key features aimed at both the retail and commercial markets which include ISO 9001, PAS 23/PAS 24 and Secured by Design accreditation.
This rationale fits very well with Everglade who in their own right has built an impressive reputation for innovative products, backed with a comprehensive marketing campaign. Vinod Gopal, managing director comments: “We’re delighted to bring Solidor and Nice Door Panels on board and our customers have been very quick to make the switch. They are already proving to be a great business partner for us at Everglade and we’re both keen to build on this.”
Gareth Mobley was quick to echo the sentiments of Vinod: “We’ve worked hard to develop a product packed with features and new marketing support materials and are looking to build long lasting relationships with high calibre customers such as Everglade. We’ve already made a great start and I’m delighted with the response, particularly from the open day.”
