Just weeks into 2011 and Network VEKA manufacturer Glazerite Windows Limited has already announced enhanced developments on two of its specialist products: the Vertical Slider and the Inline Patio Door.
Glazerite’s Vertical Slider, manufactured as with all their products in VEKA profile, proudly sports an A energy rating – good news in light of last year’s changes to Part L of the Building Regulations, which put the spotlight on energy efficiency.
Mirroring beautifully a traditional Vertical Slider with its option of deep bottom rail and glazing features, sales are ever increasing with the stylish option of white woodgrain foil finish continuing to prove a very popular choice amongst consumers. However to further enhance the aesthetic appeal to the homeowner Glazerite have now added a choice of foiled on white finishes to complement today modern interiors. In conjunction with the new colour options the Vertical Slider now features a choice of horns for added time-honoured effect as either run through or stick on. These new benefits join features such as external Georgian glazing bars that offer an authentic and traditional sash window plus inward tilting sashes that allow for easy cleaning and bring modern practicality to the window.
The window’s top energy efficiency rating, authentic styling and modern practicality demonstrate PVC’s ability to compete in the heritage and conservation sectors and means it will continue to be an increasingly popular choice for homeowners and developers alike.
Complementing the colour options across the range of VEKA products from Glazerite, the Inline Patio Door is now available in rosewood on white and golden oak on white foiled finishes. The Inline Patio Door was redesigned and launched last year with as part of Glazerite’s burgeoning portfolio and was an immediate success, with sales continuing to be strong. This is perhaps hardly surprising: multiple sliding combinations plus bevelled or sculptured sash options and seven handle colour finishes mean the door is flexible and versatile and perfect for a wide range of settings. The new foiled on white finishes can only add to the Door’s popularity, which also suites with the windows and doors in Glazerite’s impressive range.
Glazerite’s announcements about its Vertical slider and Inline Patio Door are a strong statement of intent for the company. It saw 20% sales growth last year, and these developments suggest that the company will be aiming to match or better that figure by continuing to offer versatile, stylish and cutting edge products to its ever-increasing customer base.
