Deceuninck has just launched its latest product onto the market: a centre pivot window. The window has a wealth of features that will make it very appealing to specifiers working on domestic and commercial high rise applications.
Firstly, because the centre pivot window allows cleaning and maintenance to be carried out from inside the building it offers greater safety and – something that’s vital in commercial applications – improved cost-effectiveness.
The window’s versatility will appeal to specifiers too: it can be manufactured in sizes up to 1500mm x 1500mm (providing that a maximum sash weight of 60kg is not exceeded and that it still meets Wind Load Exposure Category requirements in accordance with BS 6399 – the Deceuninck technical department is always on hand to advise in such situations).
As with all Deceuninck products, the centre pivot window has undergone extensive technical performance tests and has passed all of them with flying colours. It meets the recently amended BS 6375-1:2009 and BS 6375-2:2009 standards and achieved particularly notable results on its weather performance, something that is crucial on certain high rise applications and giving specifiers another good reason to choose it.
The centre pivot window is the latest addition to Deceuninck popular 70mm system, 3000 Zendow. The window is also fully compatible with all Deceuninck European 70mm range of products, meaning that the specifier has access to a comprehensive range of accessory profiles and glazing options between 6 and 40mm.
Jon Skinner, Deceuninck Commercial Director said, “We see this as a very important addition to our commercial offering. Specifiers are always seeking products that combine ongoing cost-effectiveness, superb technical performance and great aesthetics. Our centre pivot window is a perfect example of such a product and confident of a positive reception from the marketplace.”
