Surge in companies investing in prospect data

Insight Data, the UK’s fastest growing provider of window industry data, has seen a surge in companies subscribing to its fabricator and installer online database.

Commercial director Helen Costeloe-Hughes believes that suppliers to the industry are recognising that the time is right to invest in marketing; “many companies put the breaks on marketing in the last year, but this is now changing. In the last month alone we’ve had 18 companies subscribe to the Insight prospect database.”

The database provides companies with detailed information on all 13,000 fabricators and installers including volumes, preferred window/roof systems, and which products they offer. Customers use the database to pinpoint specific prospects and instantly create mailshot, telesales and email lists, and provide contact lists for sales people.

Insight Data has invested over £100,000 to develop the database as an online system, which means users can log on from home, office or from their laptop, and because the system is internet based users access the very latest information – no complicated software, no updates to install and the system is not tied to a particular computer.

“We have almost 200 users now accessing the database to find new customers or communicate with fabricators and installers” explains Helen; “it isn’t just systems companies or fabricators either. Some of the industry’s leading organisations, such as the BBA (British Board of Agrement) and the GQA (Glass Qualification Authority) have recently subscribed. In fact, any company who wish to communicate directly with fabricators or installers should consider subscribing to the Insight database.”
