Leading system company Spectus has promoted Peter Colclough and Chris Powell to Production Director and Operations Director respectively. Both Peter and Chris have worked in the extrusion factory for many years in a variety of roles. They will now work much more closely with customers, meeting key accounts for active feedback to provide a better and more efficient service.
Managing Director Sam Kennedy explains further: “Peter and Chris have different roles in the factory but both will now work directly with customers. We already have this contact with certain customers and the response is always good, so we’re structuring it more formally for others. Our Technical Director Martin Althorpe and Sales and Marketing Director Duncan Douglas will also be supporting customers in this way. It means fabricators can talk to a decision-maker who understands their needs, and responds quickly.”
Peter Colclough is enthusiastic about his new role: “We’re looking at developing new products and special foils to help customers differentiate themselves, with a quicker response and turnaround. The manufacturing operation has improved greatly in the last few years; we are now very lean and efficient. So our main focus is to support customers to help them take advantage of every opportunity. This will also allow the sales team to deal with new business, helping the company grow in 2009.”
“Coming to board level,” adds Chris Powell, “I’ve been delighted with the support and enthusiasm shown by our parent company Latium. Stuart Lees and Brian Kennedy are always 100% behind Spectus, and helping us to lead the market.”
