With a growing network of sealed unit manufacturers in the UK, Swisspacer has appointed MRA Marketing to promote its warm edge technology. Established in 1998, and part of Saint Gobain Glass Solutions, Swisspacer has grown significantly over the past two years and is now considered to be one of the top two warm edge spacer brands in Europe. MRA Marketing has been appointed to tell the market about Swisspacer, the highest performing spacer bar system, in the UK and Ireland.
Tests conducted by Rosenheim, the leading independent fenestration research and test facility, show that Swisspacer V outperforms any other spacer bar for PSI values for insulation. Its structural strength is second to none and it has been specified for many well-known tall buildings across the world including the Swiss Re ‘Gherkin’ and the HSBC building in London.
While Swisspacer’s performance is ahead of other warm edge spacers, it exactly matches the shape and dimensions of aluminium spacers, and being rigid and self supporting it handles in a similar way. This means sealed unit manufacturers and fabricators don’t have to invest in costly, specially adapted sealed unit machinery to use Swisspacer.
