The TV and press advertising and publicity campaign is being refreshed with brand new commercials and an even bigger spend on prime time television in the weeks around this year’s Glassex. The spring 2007 campaign will bring the Pilkington Activ™ advertising spend to more than £2 million in just 12 months, believed to be by far the biggest consumer advertising drive undertaken for any flat glass product in the UK. This will sustain the huge impact achieved by the original campaigns last year, which drove a ten-fold increase in sales in a single year resulting in a huge resurgence in home improvement sales for installers.
