State-of-the-art machining products from world-leaders elumatec have helped a booming Essex business firmly establish itself as one of the South East’s foremost commercial glazing specialists.
Barking-based Ravenworth, proudly family-owned and run for over forty years, is respected throughout the region for its expertise in aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling.
The firm both manufactures and installs, offering a comprehensive range of products conforming to BSI BS4873 and ISO9001:2015 standards to major commercial projects across the south of England.
Helping to deliver the consistently excellent quality that commercial developers demand are two high-performance machinery products from elumatec.
Ravenworth operates an SBZ 122/71 profile machining centre, designed for fast, efficient machining of aluminium profiles.
While profile bars are kept stationary to protect their surfaces, precision routing, drilling, tapping and operations take place at 0°, -90°, -180° and -270° thanks to a versatile spindle complete with a rotating gearbox.
Dynamic servos allow the machining unit to travel at 120m/min, guided by intelligent control technology designed to maximise efficiency while minimising energy consumption.
The company also has a DG104 double mitre saw. The unit’s universal pivoting and tilting allows for the cutting of high and wide profiles, as well as every kind of compound mitre. Many profiles can be cut without support blocks.
"Commercial developers demand versatility, high volumes and outstanding quality,” comments Oscar Webb, Director of Ravenworth, “and that’s exactly what our elumatec machinery offers us.
“The outstanding-quality machinery, combined with incredibly knowledgeable and attentive support staff, has helped us build a reputation as one of the best in the business.”
Neil Parton, Sales Director of elumatec, comments: “I’ve always believed you can judge a company by the calibre of its clients, and if we’re able to work with customers as passionate and quality-focused as Ravenworth, we must be doing something right.
“We’re delighted we’ve been able to play a part in their continuing growth, and we look forward to working with them for many years to come.”
