Virtuoso Doors has celebrated its biggest sales month ever in the history of the business.
Since becoming part of Customade Group in 2017, Virtuoso Doors’ sales have grown at phenomenal pace. Now Virtuoso has announced that May was a record-breaking month for the business with sales up by 50% on the same period last year.
Tony Craggs, managing director of Virtuoso Doors, explains: “It’s been an incredible time and we are absolutely delighted to celebrate the biggest sales month in our 37-year history. Demand for our range of precision manufactured doors has snowballed in the last 12 months and sales have now reached an all-time high.
“In a highly competitive market, we stand out because of the superb quality of our products and the levels of service we provide for customers to help them win business and achieve long term growth. Demand has driven increased volumes, but our growth is certainly not at the expense of the service we provide for customers and we have maintained our OTIF record of over 99%. At a time when some manufacturers are struggling to maintain quality output and reliable service, that is something to be very proud of.”
Virtuoso Doors’ customer Windows 4u (Scotland) has also celebrated a record month. Drew Smith, director, congratulated Virtuoso Doors and said: “Well done to you all on your fantastic growth. Your professionalism and service has helped my company to also achieve a record-breaking month. Long may it continue!”
Virtuoso’s growth strategy is underpinned by new product development and much of the firm’s success has been driven by the market response to Virtu-AL – the ultra-modern aluminium textured, non-woodgrain finish composite door. With a stylish aluminium textured architectural appearance that’s virtually indistinguishable from the real thing, Virtu-AL looks and feels nothing like a traditional composite door, yet it benefits from all the characteristics of a composite door. Its rising popularity among installers now means that it accounts for a large proportion of Virtuoso Doors sales.
“Virtu-AL has been a key addition to the Virtuoso range,” Tony adds. “The feedback we’ve received from customers, both old and new, to Virtu-AL has been amazing and it’s already one of our best-sellers. But we’re not stopping there and we will be launching another industry first very soon. The UK’s first aluminium outer frame for a composite door will complement Virtu-AL perfectly and its launch makes us the only manufacturer in the industry to now offer a choice of both aluminium and PVCu frames for composite doors.
“The rest of the year promises to be just as exciting for us as we gear up for more growth. Our 80,000-square foot site is fully equipped with specialist machinery, equipment and IT systems to increase our capabilities and give us unlimited capacity for the future. All this means that we can comfortably satisfy our lead times without any compromises on quality. And with new products and an unbeatable support package, customers can be sure that they have all the resources they need to break new ground and successfully grow their businesses. Watch out for more from Virtuoso and its customers!”
