TruFrame is now reporting that sales of its flush sash window have now reached 25% of all window production and the growth is expected to be strong throughout 2018 and beyond.
Replicating the traditional sightlines of timber joinery, the TruFrame flush sash window harnesses the six-chambered EnergyPlus outer frame from Liniar and a flush sash profile that’s designed to accommodate the industry standard 28mm double glazed unit. It’s also a window, like all others from TruFrame, that is hand finished at no extra cost, using their proven 4-step process.
They are available in 14 different finishes, including white uPVC, from as little as 5 working days from point of order. Windows can also be specified with key-locking monkey tail handles and peg-stays for a traditional appearance or with more modern hardware for a contemporary feel.
TruFrame’s own astragal bar is also part of the product proposition and is carefully milled and hand finished for a more detailed appearance. It’s very much a flush sash window packed with features, yet without the hefty price ticket of some other brands in the sector.
In addition to the standard welded flush sash, TruFrame have carefully developed Refine, a fully mechanically jointed version of the flush sash that’s manufactured and crafted to the most exacting of tolerances. Both options are Secured by Design Accredited, making them the only flush sash windows in the UK to achieve this accreditation. There’s also an impressive 24-page brochure to support the Refine premium option.
David Firmager, Managing Director of TruFrame commented: ‘Our flush sash window has been incredibly well adopted throughout 2017, as installers look to a new sales opportunity and a shift in emphasis to a flush appearance and equal sightlines. Careful hand finishing, along with period inspired hardware make this a compelling product proposition, as our installers have enjoyed and will continue to do so, as this remains one of the most defining uPVC window options for consumers.’
