Alternative Windows Achieves Certification with Bluesky

Alternative Windows has achieved certification with Bluesky for the manufacture of windows and doorsets to BS7412 and PAS 24, and IGUs to EN 1279.

"When choosing a certification body, credibility, service and value for money were all important considerations for us,” says Nigel Fletcher, Director at Alternative Windows. “Certification is much more than just having a certificate to put on the wall - we need a company that can quickly react to our needs and keep us up to date with the latest requirements.

“Bluesky Certification is UKAS accredited, recognised by Secured by Design, and their staff are clearly knowledgeable in doors, windows and glass. They also have an innovative approach with an emphasis on customer service, which fits well with our business. Having worked with Simon Beer over many years we had a good idea of what we might expect from Bluesky and the transition has so far worked very well."

Simon Beer, Managing Director of Bluesky Certification says: “When we launched Bluesky Certification we felt that there was a gap in the market for a credible certification body that was prepared to differentiate itself through the service provided to its customers. It is good to see that companies such as Alternative Windows consider the quality of service provided as a key factor when choosing their certification body.”
