Leading trade window, door and conservatory fabricator, FrameXpress Ltd has appointed Tim Ball as Operations Director in a strategic move that is set to further strengthen the corporate position. As sales and market demands increase and new product developments are introduced, greater precision engineering is required and therefore management and operational expansion has been essential.
With the steady growth of frameXpress in both domestic and commercial sectors over the last few years, there have been a number of investment programmes initiated by senior management at the firm which have led to the need to further bolster the team and broaden the horizon for the frameXpress brand.
Prior to joining the team, Tim gained extensive experience in technical manufacturing having built his skill set from the ground up in sales, engineering and operational management.
Having carefully evaluated the company Tim takes the longer term view in relation to progression and is looking forward to bringing his experience to the fore in a company that has made positive and selective capital investments. The company’s reputation and business ethics were already known to him and he was clearly impressed with the well run business that is heavily populated with a loyal and longstanding workforce.
Initially, he will evaluate the different departments and their working methods. This will be fol-lowed by the introduction of a programme that will improve the business incrementally and further build upon its strengths. In a competitive sector, he considers that the industry continues to face challenges of adding value in a market that has to continually combat rising costs and economic un-certainty.
