Italian hardware giant, AGB, celebrates 70 years of manufacturing high-quality window, door and curtain hardware systems this year. During its impressive 70 years, AGB has continued to invest in research, innovation and technology to make it a leading provider of window and door hardware.
Set up in 1947, AGB manufactures all its products across northern Italy in three factories, making each and every product 100 percent Italian made. The range includes locks, bolts, sliding door hardware and pivot window hinges, which are all widely used in the UK.
“70 years is a great milestone and reward for all the hardwork everyone involved has put in to AGB,” says Marco Zen, UK and Ireland Sales Manager for AGB Hardware.
“It reflects the success the business has had and shows how we have grown over the years to become an innovative and leading hardware company.”
AGB manufactures some of the most advanced hardware systems for windows and doors including the super stylish Imago Lift & Slide door. With a slim frame of just 2cm, Imago is engineered to provide the perfect frame for the view. It has a large glazed area with super slim sightlines, truly bringing the outside in. The system is versatile and can be used for pocket doors, cornerless glazing and panoramic glazing.
The advanced multipoint locking system for pivot windows, Tour R, is another example of AGB’s innovation. It’s a high performing, standout pivot window system. Its friction pivot hinge, combined with multi-point locking, provides clean and smooth movement for ease of use for the end user.
“Our experience and success over the past 70 years puts us in a really strong position going forwards. We’re looking forward to what the next 70 years brings for AGB,” adds Marco.
