Universal’s record breaking shaped sales

Universal Arches have enjoyed their greatest calendar year to date, with sales up 10.3% for the year of 2016 vs 2015, thanks to several exceptional months and record order intake weeks.

Post-Brexit referendum sales showed no signs of a slow down with orders for 350 shaped frames in just 3 days received, during the course of September. Thanks to efficient production planning and robust ISO9001:2008 certified processes, deliveries were made well within the 5-7 day standard, to the delight of their customer base.

With over 50% of employees boasting over 10 years experience within the business, Universal Arches is clearly a great place to work and each year new recruits are fully trained up the ‘Universal way’. This is to help support the continued growth from the clear market leader in the shaped frame sector, with further growth still yet to be realised in full.

Leon Day, managing director, of Universal Arches enthused: ‘I’m hugely proud of what we have achieved in this business, which is down to the commitment and hard work of everybody. We have a true thirst for customer service excellence, which starts with the way in which we treat our valued employees, who in turn produce a production of outstanding quality.

He continued: ‘I fully expect us to enjoy a further period of growth in 2017 and beyond, as the opportunities for shaped frames continue to be fulfilled and as customers look to identify new sales prospects.’
