Bohle has unveiled the latest incarnation of its highly flexible belt grinding machine, the Versalux Plus.
The Versalux + is designed to accommodate all silicon carbide abrasive belts and features a simple belt exchange system via a new full length door. This plus a smooth running action make it ideal for general grinding, arrissing, polishing and a wide variety of other uses.
Dave Broxton, Managing Director, Bohle said that the Versalux was the perfect ‘workshop machine’, delivering a high level of flexibility and releasing capacity on other machining centres.
“It’s a tried and tested product so it delivers great reliability but it’s the flexibility that it delivers which has driven its popularity with glass processors”, he said.
Broxton continued: “It’s a really compact machine. It can be positioned in any part of the workshop and simply plugs into the nearest socket but it gives you the flexibility to do shapes and angles, flat and arris and you can produce a high quality polish with it using a cork belt.
“For a small and very affordable machine it gives you a lot of options and it means that you can take on those small jobs without impacting on your core manufacturing process.”
The Versalux + is available in 230V and 400V models with a range of optional extras including a flat back plate for hard grinding, ball table extensions for larger glass and a bolt-on, inline wheel set for small work.
