Roof Maker, the UK’s leading manufacturer of skylights and roof lanterns, is expanding its delivery fleet as part of a series of planned investments in its infrastructure.
The latest addition to the fleet is a 7.5 tonne curtainsider lorry, which will enable the company to manage significantly increased loads and to keep pace with growing demand for its flagship brand of ThermFold™ bifold doors.
Since their introduction in December 2015, sales of ThermFold™ energy efficient and secure aluminium bifold door systems have soared, exceeding projections by four fold in the first three months of 2016.
“This latest investment adds to our capacity to handle higher volume deliveries of bifold door systems alongside our skylights and roof lanterns more efficiently and effectively, ensuring that customers receive all their products on time and in one drop in line with our excellent standards of customer service,” said Chris Anthony, Sales Director.
Roof Maker has a fleet of dedicated vehicles with specialist drivers, who are highly skilled in handling glass and the technical requirements of transporting this exclusive line of products.
