In warm weather, people often want to hold doors or windows open. In the UK, more properties are being constructed with French doors opening onto a patio, or behind a balustrade on higher floors in the form of a juliet balcony.
The Roto arrestable brake stay holds sashes open at any angle. It is controlled by the movement of the handle.
On window-doors geared with the NT modular system, you simply open the leaf to the required angle and turn the handle to the locked position. The leaf is held in place and will not move, even if exposed to moderate winds.
“You could see Roto arrestable brake stay as an optional extra”, says Roto Business Development Manager Vesa Nenye. “However, once you’ve lived with it, you won’t want to be without it. A brake stay like this is just so convenient – no more propping windows or doors open with other objects, or having to close them because of a slight breeze”.
The Roto arrestable brake stay is part of the NT modular system. As well as being easy to fit on a new installation, it is also possible to retro-fit the device.
