In a competitive industry it is inevitable that when you’re the first to introduce a product to market, others will be quick to follow. Essex based fabricators Climatec Windows often find themselves with the competition snapping at their heels, after providing something new and innovative for their customers. However not deterred by this attention Climatec continue to live by their mantra that competition really does prompt them into raising the bar even higher.
So, what better time to introduce their new range of timber replacement doors than at this year’s recent Fit Show exhibition. Visitors to Climatec’s stand were able to see a fully operational Victorian styled door, in chartwell green with stained, gothic effect glass, a slam shut lock and a gold centre door pull and doctor knocker to complete the look. Also on show was the 1930s timber effect Irish Oak door, again very popular with those who spent time admiring it (pictured).
Climatec will also be the first to fabricate the new Rehau Agila Inline sliding doors at their factory in Southend-on-Sea.
No strangers to introducing new and exciting products to their fabrication team, Climatec enjoy meeting with their various suppliers to find out what’s new in their industry and how they can work it into their own bespoke portfolio.
Back in 1993 Climatec’s inception began with their first chamfered window fabricated using the Rehau S706 profile system. Building a strong relationship with Rehau, they then pioneered their way to fabricating the Edge sculptured system and the Heritage vertical sliders. With heavy investment in staff and machinery in those early days Climatec set a precedent to produce only the highest quality of windows and doors, using each of these profile systems.
23 years later Climatec’s portfolio of new and innovative products has grown and now includes the Calibre Profile system launched exclusively by Climatec Windows at 2014’s Fit Show. With no supplier marketing, Climatec took hold of the reigns and brought the Calibre windows and doors to the industry, successfully securing 128 Calibre customers in the first two years.
With the successful PVCu fabrication business of 1400 frames a week keeping a steady growth, Climatec focused on their aluminium company Alu-tec UK Ltd. Working with aluminium supplier AluK, the company now fabricate a large collection of aluminium windows and doors manufactured for their retail, trade and commercial customers.
And now the introduction of Climatec’s period doors moves the company a step further in their bespoke offerings. Taking inspiration from the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architectural styles, these new PVCu doors rival any traditionally designed composite door and are perfect replacements for the wooden doors found on older properties.
Success for Climatec is proven in their high quality offerings and the consistent orders from their loyal customers. With investment in staff training to NVQ level plus the purchasing of new machines including a multi-tool CNC routing station, it seems that all that’s left to ask Climatec is ‘Whats Next?’
