Phoenix Doors: ‘bright future’ for coloured composite doors

Colourful GRP composite doors unveiled by Phoenix Doors at the FIT Show attracted much attention from visitors who gained an insight into what they can expect from the complete door solution company over the coming months.

Continuing investment in plant, premises and people across all areas of Phoenix Doors by its parent company MASCO UK Window Group is contributing to ongoing growth in both its product portfolio and customer base.

Sales Director Haydon Statham comments: “The well-attended FIT Show provided the ideal platform to launch new products across our range, including the new Winkhaus AV2-B electronic multi-point locking system that offers a 21st century keyless aesthetic solution.

“People were also curious to find out more about how we can satisfy growing demand for a wide range of coloured composite doors on shorter lead times. Our rainbow-coloured Continental Collection Door also attracted much attention.

“Meridian, our high-performance 70mm double-rebated composite door, also proved very popular and visitors were clearly impressed with our new capability to supply this premium product in a host of new colours,” continues Haydon.

Having experienced a ‘phenomenal’ uplift in sales at the beginning of this year, Phoenix Doors has introduced extra production shifts and is enlarging its paint spraying capability to service customer requirements as part of a wider review of its manufacturing operations and future growth strategy.

Haydon adds: “Sales have been very good. Colour is a growing trend and much of the sales uplift has come from our existing customers, which illustrates the strength of the composite door market today. The future’s certainly ‘brighter’!”
