The success of Avocet Hardware’s ATK snap secure lock has been underlined by Rockdoor’s decision to switch to the company’s newest SS312 Sold Secure Diamond accredited and BS TS007 3-star rated product.
Rockdoor, one of the largest composite door manufacturer in the UK, began fitting ATK as standard on all of its Ultimate high security composite, stable and French doors at the beginning of March – a move that makes the Lancashire-based company become the first composite door manufacturer to make ATK its standard lock.
Paul Sowerby, Rockdoor’s group sales and marketing director, said: “Security is paramount in this business and so the decision to switch to Avocet was easy. ATK easily outperforms the competition in repelling lock-snapping attacks and if that wasn’t enough, it’s also one of the only Sold Secure and Secured by Design rated thumbturn locks on the market.
“It’s definitely a product that we are happy to put our trust in."
Designed to deliver the ultimate protection in the fight against lock-snapping, ATK is the only cylinder for composite doors that carries the Master Locksmith Association’s highest rating – SS312 Sold Secure Diamond accreditation –, a British Kitemark TS007 3-star rating and Secured by Design accreditations.
ATK also comes with a standard key, which allows all leading locksmiths to produce them quickly and easily, and without recourse to end-user registration.
James Wilson, Area Sales Manager of Avocet Hardware, said: “ATK has fast established itself as the Avocet success story of 2015 – and confidence is high for 2016, especially when you consider we’ll be working alongside Rockdoor, whose plans for expansion are every bit as exciting as ours are for ATK.”
