The team at Avocet Hardware is putting the final touches to its plans for this month’s FIT Show (April 12th – 14th) and sales director, Rob I’Anson says that visitors to stand A40 should be prepared to see a company in the best shape it’s ever been.
“It has been an extremely positive 12-months for Avocet and now, no matter which part of the business you look at, there are success stories to be told. And what’s more, once you’ve finished telling them there are a whole host of new ones waiting to be aired.
While our ATK locks have been hogging the vast majority of the headlines in recent months, products such as Affinity, ABS and Pioneer have been delivering startling results of their own.
ATK does though deserve a special mention. Developed specifically to assist companies seeking to adjust to the implementation of Document Q of the Building Regulations when it came into force in October 2015, it’s already enticed ten of the biggest names in the industry to switch to Avocet. And when you consider its key features, it’s easy to see why:
- It is one of the only Euro-cylinder that carries the Master Locksmith Association’s highest rating – SS312 Sold Secure Diamond accreditation, a British Kitemark TS007 3-star rating and Secured by Design accreditations
- It also features a thumbturn that incorporates Avocet’s click secure system, which makes use of a positive click turn action that means it can’t be bypassed with wire tools that make a great deal of other thumbturns a major security risk
- And if that wasn’t enough, its use of a standard key allows all leading locksmiths to produce them quickly and easily, and without recourse to end-user registration
The timely launch of ATK hasn’t been the only element behind its success. The work carried out on the phones and on the road by our sales team has been phenomenal. While the marketing support each and every one of our customers receives as standard makes life easier for them selling our products on to their markets. It’s an all-round team effort and one that everyone at Avocet is rightly proud of.
Amidst all the ATK success, ABS, Affinity and Pioneer ranges of door and window hardware have also continued to deliver.
Affinity has now well and truly earned its reputation as one of the premiere window and door furniture ranges in the UK. The standard Affinity product suite is being ordered alongside ATK with increasing regularity by the leading composite door manufacturers as they seek to create products that are not only PAS-24 and Document Q compliant, but stylish enough to attract buyers at a time when interior style is at the forefront of so many minds. While, Affinity Ultra stainless steel bar handles, knockers and letterplates, designed to provide extra durability for coastal areas and added style for modern composite doors, are causing a real clamour.
And if all of that wasn’t enough – we’ll also be showing a host of brand new products for the very first time. So make sure you pay a visit the Avocet stand at this year’s FIT Show and find out for yourself what great shape we’re in.”
