Hailed as one of Britain’s ‘inspirational companies’ in 2015, Wakefield-based fabricator Conservatory Outlet has now been identified as one of the Yorkshire Fastest 50, thanks again to its outstanding growth.
The Yorkshire fastest 50 2016 list is the sixth of its kind and has been compiled by independent economic researchers at Bradford University School of Management to celebrate the fastest growing, most dynamic, privately owned companies in the county.
With the cementing of a ‘Northern Powerhouse’ very much on Government agendas, businesses such as Conservatory Outlet are turning the concept into a reality, spearheading economic growth for both Yorkshire and the North of England as a whole.
Conservatory Outlet is one of two companies from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, to make the list but as managing director Greg Kane explains, it’s business model has more far-reaching positive effects: “We supply and support a small but elite network of clients which span the UK and each excel in their respective areas, such as Hazlemere Window Company and Joedan Home Improvements which have both recently been listed in the London Stock Exchange Group’s 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2016.”
Greg’s business partner, Michael Giscombe, added: “We are extremely proud to be recognised as one of Yorkshire’s ‘Fastest 50’ and thank all of our stakeholders for their contributions towards our continued success.”
March will see a Yorkshire Fastest 50 awards ceremony take place in Leeds during which overall category winners will be announced, with Conservatory Outlet currently competing in the medium-sized business category, though on course to insert itself into the large category before the end of the current financial year.
Organised and sponsored by Ward Hadaway Law Firm, the Yorkshire Fastest 50 is becoming a real fixture on the region’s business calendar and a true annual celebration of the companies within the area that are setting the pace for a Northern England economy boom.
