Winkhaus to showcase top three German attractions at the FIT Show


Winkhaus’ Grand Entrance range of multipoint locks delivers high security for double doors

Engineering innovation, beer and the popular ‘wurst’ are arguably three of the most well-known German trademarks, so it’s no surprise leading hardware specialist, Winkhaus, has chosen to showcase them at the FIT Show in April.

Exhibiting on stand 244, Winkhaus will be presenting its newest innovation, the autoLock AV3, alongside the company’s other market leading locking solutions, including the very successful AV2 Family, and the Grand Entrance collection of high security multipoint locks.

Featuring the new ‘daytime latch’ function, the AV3 multipoint autolock delivers added practicality for the end-user, by allowing the door to be opened from the outside without a key when activated. This is particularly useful when instant access is needed over a short period of time, for example when the homeowner is carrying in shopping bags.

“The AV3 further expands our already comprehensive range of locking solutions, enabling our clients to offer yet more choice to their own customers, and placing them in an advantageous position in today’s competitive environment,” said Winkhaus’ Justin Harris.

“We’re delighted to be presenting the new autolock at the FIT Show, together with our Grand Entrance suite of multipoint locks specifically designed to provide a high security solution for double doors.”

Suitable for any timber, aluminium and composite double door combination, the Winkhaus Grand Entrance range is a perfect fit for applications such as French door sets, or modern doors with an opening side panel.

“We invite fabricators and installers to our stand to see the new innovations for themselves, and discover how our complex portfolio of locking solutions can help them gain a strong competitive advantage across multiple markets,” said Justin. “Visitors to our stand will also be able to see our new AV2 animation that explains in a nutshell how our most popular lock works.”

Aside from product innovations, the Winkhaus stand will also boast a ‘German hospitality’ theme, with traditional German beer and sausages. “Being at the show means more than a business opportunity for us.
