Senior management at frameXpress always try to support staff wherever possible and this year has been no exception. When Customer Care Co-Ordinator, Hannah Griffin declared she was running in the Race For Life with a number of close friends, the company quickly offered to sponsor her.
The 5k charity race involved running a muddy course, where women of any ability could climb, jog and walk their way through a variety of obstacles. There were numerous hurdles to scale around the course including giant inflatables, as well as muddy tunnels to crawl through and a scramble net to climb over.
Hannah also took part in the race last year and combined this with a mini festival at her mother’s pub with all funds going to the cancer charity.
Hannah comments, “I think charities like this are important as everyone knows someone that has had a family member or friend go through the trauma cancer brings. A couple of my family members have had cancer and survived which is down to the research these charities do. We are hoping to do this again next year as it was such a great success.”
The “Muddy Buddies” ran the Race for Life on May 2nd at Weston Park, Staffordshire and together raised a total of £680 towards Cancer Research.
