Blackburn based Eco-Door has been using Solidor slabs for the last 6 months in the manufacture of their own complete composite door sets which are offered with a dedicated Rehau door frame.
Eco-Door decided upon Solidor, due to the fact that the product had a wealth of sales features, including 15 colours inside and out at the time, which have now been extended to 17. The fact that Solidor slabs have a proven exterior grade laminate, rather than a painted, stained or embossed finish along with a range of over 14 styles were further features that impressed the team at Eco-Door.
By their very name, Eco-Door are sending an environmental message out to their customers and the fact that the Solidor slabs can be completely recycled is a big plus for the business at a time when GRP based doors are destined for landfill at the end of their useful life.
Away from the packed features of their composite doors, Solidor have built a reputation as a truly customer focused business and much has been done in the back office to ensure that as they continue to grow, that customer care remains paramount.
Dean Livesey, managing director of Eco-Door comments: ‘It was a relevantly easy decision for us to take the Solidor slab and they have also proven to be a great business partner for us. We’ve experienced considerable growth since the start of the year, up to 60 slabs per month and hope to be able to build on this and our relationship with Solidor for many years to come.’
Dean Foley, area sales manager of Solidor comments: ‘We’ve got a great working relationship with Eco-Door and hope to work closely with them moving forward. It seems everyone loves a feature packed, solid and environmentally friendly composite door!
