Specialist industry data supplier Insight Data has announced it has smashed the 50,000 barrier on email contacts across the Insight database.
This includes the largest fabricator and installer database in the UK – now at over 13,000 email contacts, over 16,000 architects’ emails, over 10,000 email addresses of local builders and the balance made up of house-builders, main contractors, and renewable energy installers.
“This is an important landmark for the building industry,” explains data analyst Jade Greenhow, “but more importantly, it is by far the most accurate and targeted email database. Our researchers continuously telephone interview and verify email contacts and this information is updated live in real-time on Salestracker. This is essential as there are thousands of changes to email contacts every week.”
The enormous growth of the email database extends the competitive advantage for Insight customers who now have access to more than twice the number of relevant email contacts than other databases, with more than twice the deliverability rates.
However, Jade is quick to point out it isn’t just about the number of contacts:
“Email data degrades at a much faster rate than any other data. Within six months, 30% of addresses can be out of date so it’s not enough just to have a list of thousands of contacts. Companies need to make sure the data is continuously updated otherwise results from campaigns can be disappointing and companies could end up getting black-listed for spamming.”
Insight Data has the largest in-house research team in the industry who continuously update and verify contacts. This ensures that users of the data are accessing the most accurate and relevant information available.
