Elumatec, the World’s No. 1 manufacturer of profile processing machinery, is returning to Interbuild this year, exhibiting an important selection of machines form its comprehensive range of profile centres, saws and equipment for the door, window and curtain walling fabrication market. For the first time, aluminium has been given high prominence at the show, with Hall 9 housing The Aluminium in Construction Zone. This offers aluminium manufacturers the opportunity to showcase their products and highlight their vital role within the industry. The Zone, hosted jointly by the Council of Aluminium in Building (CAB) and the Aluminium Federation (ALFED), will act as an information hub for aluminium in construction.
In the heart of the Zone is Elumatec’s stand, which features the company’s extensive product ranges, including the SBZ122 profile machining centres with the possibility of three or five sides processing for the automatic door manufacturing with single or multiple locks or other industrial applications. The SBZ 122 offers precise clamping of the profile whilst all routing, drilling and tapping operations are carried out fully automatically, thus preventing scratching to the surface of the section.
Elumatec is also displaying its DG double mitre saw, which offers precision cutting of complex large profiles, and which is ideal for high volume cutting. The universal pivoting and tilting of two saw heads allows simultaneous cutting of high and wide profiles.
At the core of Elumatec’s product range is the concept of seamless manufacturing, linking the software to the machines. Elumatec is joined in Hall 9 by German production automation specialists, Orgadata, developers of the revolutionary logiKal® software programme. The software offers efficient and precise control throughout the entire manufacturing process, handling all popular aluminium framing systems and profiles from design through purchasing and production to despatch and invoicing.
With all the latest technological facts, figures and developments on show, the Aluminium in Construction Zone offers information and advice to the fabricators, systems companies, suppliers, and consultants expected to frequent the area throughout the five-day event.
Also featured is an Aluminium Trail, leading visitors around Hall 9 to the various aluminium companies who have booked stands. Detailed information is available about CAB's newly launched series of RIBA approved 'Aluminium in Construction' CPD Seminars and a host of other services such as the monthly Aluminium in Architecture E-zine and CAB's technical publications.
