Lincolnshire’s market leading manufacturer of windows, doors and conservatories has switched to Liniar. Tradeglaze chose Liniar because it offered an innovative and modern system. Tradeglaze now offers Liniar’s chamfered and sculptured products in white, cream and woodgrain, all of which are available direct to installers and to homeowners through its retail arm Supreme Windows. Tradeglaze recently expanded its capacity significantly, moving to a new 10,000ft2 purpose-built manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Lincoln.

General Manager Geoff Gowland comments: “The Liniar systems meet the challenges of today’s market, not those of years gone by, take thermal efficiency for example. We recently applied for Tradeglaze’s first Window Energy Rating. Liniar’s help and expertise has made the process easier for us. Because of its design, we can achieve a cost effective ‘A’ rating. We’re standardising on an ‘A’ rating because compared to a ‘C’ rating offered by our competitors there isn’t much cost difference. It means we can offer homeowners better performance for the same price. It puts us ahead of the game. We have confidence in the management team at Liniar. We work in partnership with them rather than have a customer/supplier relationship.”

Using Liniar’s lead free system has enabled the company to tender for a number of commercial contracts including projects with Lincolnshire Rural Housing Association. Geoff adds: “Because Liniar is lead free we are able to meet commercial projects’ green requirements – it’s a fully recyclable product and being lead free it is environmentally
