Hardware marketing specialist Stephanie Wright joins G-U

Stephanie Wright, regarded as one of the window hardware industry’s most able and experienced marketing executives, has joined leading brand Gretsch-Unitas Ltd in a move by managing director Paul Gerrard to add further impetus behind ambitious expansion plans for the company.
Stephanie, who is noted for her deep understanding of technical issues regarding window and door hardware as well as the marketing needs of the industry, has been tasked with the job of steering the development and expansion of G-U’s hardware portfolio through to delivery of the products to customers, and broadening the company’s customer base.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for me,” explained Stephanie, “as I believe that this role will enable me to fully utilise the knowledge and skills that I have acquired over the years. This job is not simply about designing some new brochures but the full spectrum of marketing, from learning about customers’ needs and developing and delivering products to satisfy their requirements; and for one of the world’s leading hardware brands too!”
Paul Gerrard says he created this new role specifically: “People of Stephanie’s calibre do not come along very often and I jumped at the opportunity to get her on board. She has already led discussions with potential suppliers regarding new product development and proves my decision on a daily basis.”
Stephanie Wright’s first marketing role was with shoot-bolt pioneer Feneseal in the early ‘Nineties, gaining further experience and formal marketing qualifications in the engineering sector before returning to the window and door industry. Originally from the West Midlands she is married with two teenaged children.
