Lancashire Trade Frames have improved product quality and enjoyed greater production efficiencies thanks to the investment in a BJM machining and cutting centre from Promac as part of a longer-term investment programme.

The Bolton-based fabricator now has a production capacity of around 900 frames per week out of their new 20,000 sq ft factory which opened in December 2005. Mark Rowland, managing director comments: “We have dealt with Promac for a long time thanks to their vast product range and particularly their service, support and training. This new machine from BJM has been a great investment, it has improved our production efficiency and saved us money.”

BJM has a proven history in developing and implementing machining and cutting centres for fabricators of various sizes and this latest machine has been designed specifically with the mid-sized fabricator in mind. Derek Bonnard, managing director comments: “Although BJM might not be that well-known in the UK, their machinery and operating software is second to none. It is a real piece of engineering that mid-sized fabricators can benefit from and Lancashire Trade Frames is a prime example.”

Promac continue to implement machinery solutions for fabricators looking for increased automation, enhanced product quality and most significantly cost savings. Their wide product range is backed by a large number of specialist engineers who are on hand to assist in installation, training and product support.
