Mort Windows Expands with VEKA

Mort Windows was established in 1981 and this year, is celebrating its Silver Anniversary as one of Bridgend’s best known window and door manufacturer. The company has been a VEKA fabricator throughout the 25 years, currently using the VEKA Matrix profiles in the fabrication process. Last year, Mort Windows moved to purpose built premises which it shares with sister company, Crest Conservatory Roofs.
“Due to the expansion of the company and the purchase of new CNC machinery for the factory, we decided to consolidate all operations under one roof,” comments General Manager, Kevin Barnard. “We have been using VEKA PVCu profiles since the beginning and have continued to do so because of the quality and performance of the components, which assures the same quality in our finished products.”
Adapting to market requirements over the years and innovation in design and technology, has seen Mort Windows expand its manufacturing output significantly. “We are assured that any changes in trends and legislation concerning the window and door industry will be addressed by VEKA quickly and efficiently,” continues Kevin. “Profiles have become more sophisticated over the years and VEKA is always at the forefront of any new developments. The partnering policy allows us to produce the highest quality windows and doors for our mainly trade customers, with the backing and support of the VEKA brand name.”
The VEKA Matrix 58mm and 70mm fully integrated PVCu systems have been specifically designed to offer low maintenance, high performance doors and windows, that have long tem durability. The design means that fewer than 40 profiles can be used to create an unlimited number of styles or designs for optimum specification choice.
