Avocet’s ATK snap secure lock was developed to assist companies seeking to adjust to the implementation of Document Q of the Building Regulations. It is currently the only Euro-cylinder for composite doors that carries the Master Locksmith Association’s highest rating – SS312 Sold Secure Diamond accreditation –, a British Kitemark TS007 3-star rating and Secured by Design accreditations.
ATK also features a thumbturn element that incorporates Avocet’s new click secure system, which makes use of a positive click turn action that means it can’t be bypassed with the wire tools that make a great deal of other thumbturns a major security risk. Additionally, its use of a standard key allows all leading locksmiths to produce them quickly and easily, and without recourse to end-user registration.
