Deceuninck Quick Step s Julian Alaphilippe leads Tour de France

Deceuninck-Quick Step’s Julian Alaphilippe has retained the famous ‘yellow jersey’ at the end of stage 12 of the Tour de France. The Frenchman collected the yellow jersey for the seventh time in Toulouse, putting him ahead of rivals and tournament-favourite Geraint Thomas. His team, sponsored by Deceuninck and Quick-Step Flooring is currently ranked No.1 in the world according to PCS (Pro Cycling Stats).

Commenting on his position, Alaphilippe, who also won the mountain stage in last year’s competition said:“Every day is a new adventure in yellow, it's just so nice… Whatever happens tomorrow, I'll be happy. I will try to keep it tomorrow, but Paris is a really long way."Deceuninck UK Managing Director Rob McGlennon said: “It’s been fantastic to watch the Deceuninck-Quick Step team in this year’s Tour de France – and what an achievement for Julian Alaphilippe! At the time of writing, Julian wears the ‘maillot jaune’ and we’re all rooting for him in the rest of the competition.”
