SWF introduces fixed Taylors Spindle to its portfolio

Taylors Spindle

Steel Window Fittings (SWF), a Steel Window Association member, is pleased to announce the launch of its “Taylors Spindle”.

New to Steel Window Fittings, the Taylors Spindle, which can be used with the company’s B850 and B860 door handles. The Taylors Spindle is used to fix the handle so it cannot operate in an up or down lever-lever motion and becomes fixed. The handle can be fixed in either a horizontal or vertical position and used on doors that do not require a latch or lock mechanism.

The new Taylors Spindle is easy to fit; the spindle base is first fitted to the door, the sprung cassette is then removed from the handle baseplate and then the handle is fitted over the spindle and fixed to the door.

Steel Window Association

The Steel Window Association (SWA) represents the great majority of UK steel window manufacturers, ranging in size from the smallest of craft-based companies through to large, multi-site companies. There is not a steel window project of any description, anywhere in the UK, that one of the SWA members cannot handle.

. Members of the Steel Window Association offer a UK wide service for the repair and replacement of various types of old metal windows, doors and screens, as well as being able to manufacture new fenestration which fully meets the requirements of the building regulations. Choosing an SWA member to manufacture and install your steel windows and doors ensures that you are receiving the highest standard of fabrication, installation and customer service.
