Tradesmith adds Deceuninck to open doors with colour and choice

Tradesmith Managing Director Mark Hutchinson

Tradesmith Ltd is the latest fabricator to say ‘yes’ to Deceuninck. The Sussex-based trade fabricator, who recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, identified a growing trend for colour and the need to offer customers more choice for a changing market. According to Managing Director Mark Hutchinson, Deceuninck was the obvious solution.

Mark explains: “After a detailed company, market and product review it was clear we needed to give customers more choice, service and support to help them compete more effectively in growth markets. Colour and heritage windows were the prime areas. We met several systems companies but Deceuninck stood head and shoulders above them. They have an impressive product portfolio, and a simply unbeatable 26 colourways from stock offer with outstanding On-Time-In-Full (OTIF). It’s a huge selling point because that lets us quote the same short lead times for colour as for white. Deceuninck’s attractive product range puts Tradesmith customers in a great position to capitalise on homeowners’ strong appetite for colour and high-end windows and doors.

“Tradesmith was established 25 years ago and it’s the first time we’ve changed our line-up. We’ve built a large, loyal customer base giving customers the service and products they want. We even help customers with bespoke specifications such as polished welds and different bead options. If it can be done, we’ll do it. We’re always ready to help, and Deceuninck’s customer-first ethos is the same as ours.”

Tradesmith offers Deceuninck’s award-winning Flush Sash, Chamfered and Sculptured systems, all part of the Heritage Collection, in the full colour range. Further products will be introduced later.

Mark adds: “We are repositioning Tradesmith, so we grow profitably in today’s growth markets. And Deceuninck is helping us make a smooth transition. It’s like we’ve been with them for years. I can only congratulate the whole team at Deceuninck, from senior management to office staff and technical support. Deceuninck said at the outset that they’d work hard to ensure a smooth transition, and that’s exactly what happened!”

Founded in 1937, Deceuninck is one of the world’s major PVC-U window and door systems companies. Deceuninck products are premium brand, highly rated by homeowners for appearance and kerbside appeal. As a committed innovator, Deceuninck aims to make better quality, more energy efficient products to help its fabricator customers sell more at improved margins.

Deceuninck is known for its ‘pretty’ windows with inbuilt symmetry and clean sightlines. Its Heritage Window Collection helps fabricators and installers stand out in the market with a choice of beautiful Flush Sash, Chamfered and Sculptured windows and doors. The award-winning Heritage Flush Sash (G17 Product of the Year) replicates the look of traditional timber windows and complements all types of homes, from period cottages to modern townhouses. Deceuninck’s sliding patio door, Slider24, is the best in the market for energy efficiency, security, weather performance and 26 colourways from stock, of course. No other slider comes close.
